Here's an ugly wine stain on a custom rag rug. Wine is relatively easy to get out and I don't think there has ever been one I haven't gotten out. Wine is a technically a vegetable dye, and stains quickly. Yet, it's  a weak vegetable dye, and with a few tricks up my sleeve, I can make it vanish before your eyes! You can always count on A-List for your wine stains.

A-List has gotten a few calls for wet basements with all the rain and snow melting. Keep us in mind as it takes less than 72 hours for microbial growth to start. The faster you start the proper drying the better your chances of saving the carpet.

2013 Interior Design Trends

Here's two of the hottest new trends for 2013.
  • Colefax and Fowler's
    Bowood
People are starting to get bored with plain neutral fabrics. Floral and pretty classics are making a come back!
  • Computer-Generated Fabrics
Fashion designers have been showing off hip new trends with computer-generated photorealist fabrics. These are fun and soon to be the hottest new trend in the Designer Industry!
These these fabrics are typically a cotton chintz. I highly recommend having a protective finish applied, as cotton is absorbent and stains easily. You can always rely on A-List to help protect your investment!

For All The New Moms!
I just had a client bring me their ottoman to clean, all embarrassed because it was stained from a breast pump explosion. This is very common along with formula stains. And if you've had a baby, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It's inevitable your going to get these white crusty hard to remove stains from either baby formula or breast milk. They are very hard to remove. If you've tried to remove these with a common spot remover you might have noticed they seem to disappear while wet, but then dry the same. Natures Miraclel (yes, the pet stain remover, found at pet and grocery stores) is a bio_enzyme packed with enzymes able to break these stains down and typically safe for all fabrics. Hope that helps!

Often when "FIDO" the family pet has decided that the perfect spot to pee on is, the area rug you've spent so much time picking out, the backing reviles the truth. It's more likely more than you know. At A-List, we clean not only the front of the rug but the whole rug, back and all! I treat all rugs as if I owned them myself and use the most advanced treatments to correct the problem.

Happy New Year From A-List

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday! The snow is here and it's time for shoveling and salting. If you get those dreaded salt stains on your carpet, here's an easy tip.

1.) Fill a spay bottle with 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water

2.)Spray stain and wipe with a clean towel.

That should work like a charm!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years!
